Huawei has presented the Watch GT 5 Pro, which it has launched alongside the Watch GT 5 and Watch D2 globally. For reference, while the Watch GT 5 follows directly on from last year's Watch GT 4, that is not true of the Watch GT 5 Pro. Instead, the latter effectively succeeds the much older Watch GT 3 Pro, which we reviewed over two years ago.
Nonetheless, a few elements have carried across from Huawei's third-generation model. For example, the Watch GT 5 Pro comes in two sizes; this also applies to the cheaperWatch GT 5too, though. Specifically, the Watch GT 5 Pro is available with 42 mm and 46 mm case sizes, which measure 42.49 x 42.49 x 9.6 mm and 46.3 x 46.3 x 10.9 mm, respectively.
According to Huawei, both sizes support can take an electrocardiogram (ECG), in part thanks to Huawei's new TruSense sensor technology. Although the Watch GT 5 Pro cannot monitor blood pressure like the Watch D2, it can track your heart rate, SpO2 levels and menstrual cycles. Moreover, both sizes feature AMOLED displays that resolve at 466 x 466 pixels and are IP69K certified against dust and water ingress. At launch, Huawei is offering a complimentary pair of FreeBuds 5i (curr. $89.99 on Amazon) earbuds with Watch GT 5 Pro orders, which it has priced as follows:
