Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 has streamlined the camo grind this year with simplified challenges and a more intuitive progression system. Players can grind Multiplayer or Zombies to earn exclusive camos for all of their weapons. For Zombies players, achieving true mastery with the entire Black Ops 6 weapon roster will award the Nebula camo for every weapon, one of the most visually striking camos in the game.
If you aren't a fan of Multiplayer but still want a prestigious camo, look no further than these Zombies camos. In this guide, we go over how Mastery camos work in BO6 Zombies, how to unlock them, and showcase every camo challenge you'll need to complete to unlock Nebula.
Updated November 15, 2024, by Charles Burgar: The first season of BO6 is now live, giving players two new weapons to unlock and grind camos for. We've updated this guide to include all camo challenges for the Krig C assault rifle and the Saug SMG. Additionally, we've also streamlined the mastery camo sections of each weapon category. Best of luck on the Nebula grind.
Every weapon in Black Ops 6 has a collection of Multiplayer and Zombies camos you can unlock through gameplay. Zombies camos tend to be a little easier to earn on average, requiring you to land precision kills or eliminate elite zombie variants. As with MP camos, Zombies camos come in three tiers:
Camo progress does not reset when you Prestige.
Military camos are where you'll start. In Zombies, you simply need to get critical kills with the weapon in question—excluding launchers and melee weapons, which both require generic kills instead. You'll complete these camo challenges once you land 2,000 critical kills. Bear in mind that these camos are per weapon, so you'll need to repeat this grind for every weapon.
Special camos are slightly tougher to earn, although these camos can be applied to any weapon. Two Special camos per weapon can only be unlocked once you've completed the Military camo grind.
Mastery is where the camo grind truly starts. Mystic Gold is the first tier, requiring you to get rapid kills against hordes of zombies. Once you complete that challenge, you'll need to unlock Mystic Gold for the remaining weapons in the archetype (SMG, AR, etc.) before you can start earning Opal. If you earn Opal for 33 weapons, which is most of the BO6 weapon roster, then you can complete Afterlife challenges. Unlock Afterlife for every gun to unlock the fourth and final Mastery camo: Nebula.
