Xiaomi'snext new premiumsmartwatchis thought to debut as the S4, just perhaps without the flexible bands andSuuntooptimizations of its pre-existingSportvariant. However, it will definitely retain its support for eSIM-based independent connectivity, according to a new leak.
It consists of anMIIT certificationto use4G/LTEfor theXiaomiM2424W1, identified as the Watch S4 in a previous leak. Therefore, it seems a direct successor for the OEM's interestinglyinterchangeable-bezelwearable.
The S3 runsHyperOSrather thanWear OS- even when soldon Amazon- and its rumored successor is said to do no less. It may also support fast 10Wchargingand have the same round face as its predecessor.
The Watch S4 ispredicted todebut alongside some new audio peripherals as well as theXiaomi 15series and theirtabletcounterparts. If so, it might be official by the end of October 2024 as one of the OEM's most premium new products.
