Xiaomi shares new details about Redmi Note 14 Pro Plus before release

The first launch of the Redmi Note 14 series is almost upon us. For reference, Xiaomi will present new Redmi Note smartphones on September 26, which is also when the Xiaomi 14T and Xiaomi 14T Pro will become official. Incidentally, Samsung is expected to deliver the Galaxy S24 FE, Galaxy Tab S10 Plus and Galaxy Tab S10 Ultra on the same day too.
With that being said, the arrival of the Redmi Note 14, Redmi Note 14 Pro and Redmi Note 14 Pro Plus will be limited to China. Nonethless, Xiaomi will likely replace the Redmi Note 13 5G, Redmi Note 13 Pro 5G and Redmi Note 13 Pro Plus 5G (curr. $379 on Amazon) in other markets later this year or by early 2025 at the latest. Thus, all of Xiaomi has limited all Redmi Note 14-related teasers to Chinese social media.
Nonetheless, their contents should remain applicable to global audiences. For instance, Xiaomi has now confirmed that the Redmi Note 14 Pro and Redmi Note 14 Pro Plus will feature '1.5K' AMOLED displays protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 2 with built-in eye protection. Please note that 1.5K likely refers to 1220p. At any rate, Xiaomi has also confirmed that the Redmi Note 14 Pro Plus will sport a Light Hunter 800 sensor as its telephoto camera, which will deliver a 2.5x optical zoom coupled with 13.2 EV stops and a 60 mm equivalent focal length.
