Xiaomi is set to officially release the Redmi Note 14 series this month. To that end, the company recently confirmed as much in a post on Weibo, full details of which we have covered separately. While this launch is only expected to apply to Xiaomi's home market, it seems that a global release is also being worked on behind the scenes.
However, the proliferation of the Redmi Note 14 series outside China may not be straightforward. Instead, IMEI database results suggest that Xiaomi will offer the Redmi Note 14 Pro 5G globally under two guises. Please note that Xiaomi may launch a 4G variant as well, if the Redmi Note 13 Pro 4G and Redmi Note 13 Pro 5Gare anything to go by.
Supposedly, Xiaomi plans to introduce not only the Redmi Note 14 Pro 5G but also the POCO X7 with the same underlying hardware. As it stands, the pair are rumoured to utilise Qualcomm's recent Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 chipset, which would be a logical upgrade from the Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 that powered the Redmi Note 13 Pro 5G and POCO X6(curr. $254.99 on Amazon). Unfortunately, a global release date remains unknown for now, although we would not be surprised if it occurred in early 2025 after the Redmi Note 14 series arrives in China and India.
