Xiaomi is set to have a rather busy week this week, even by its standards. To recap, the company confirmed earlier this month that it would be unveiling the Xiaomi 14T and Xiaomi 14T Pro globally on September 26. For context, while the Xiaomi 14T Pro is effectively a global version of the Redmi K70 Extreme Edition, the Xiaomi 14T has no direct Redmi equivalent.
Now, Xiaomi has revealed that it will be showcase its first Redmi Note 14 series smartphones on the same day. Incidentally, the confirmation has arrived a week on from the publication of its first teaser, which it promptly followed a few days later with a series of official device photos. As expected, Xiaomi will kick off the Redmi Note 14 series with three devices that it intends to sell as direct successors to last year's Redmi Note 13, Redmi Note 13 Pro and Redmi Note 13 Pro Plus (curr. $375 on Amazon).
For reference, Xiaomi will present the Redmi Note 14, Redmi Note 14 Pro and Redmi Note 14 Pro Plus at 11:00 UTC on September 26. Please note that this launch will only apply to Xiaomi's home market and not elsewhere. Currently, Xiaomi is anticipated to introduce the Redmi Note 14 series in India and globally during separate launch events later this year or in early 2025. With that being said, specifications that have leaked today should apply to Xiaomi's future Indian and global variants for the most part too.
