The manufacturer Xgimi offers a new 4K projector with the RS 10 Plus. The new model is currently only available in China, and there is no information on a global release yet. In the domestic market, it is priced at the equivalent of around $900 - there are already alternatives from the manufacturer available in this price range.

Xgimi specifies the brightness of the RS 10 Plus as 2,700 CVIA lumens or 2,200 ISO lumens. The specification is not entirely unproblematic: the brightness of projectors is usually specified in ANSI lumens, meaning that comparability is not readily possible. The contrast ratio is stated at 1,600:1. According to the manufacturer, there is a high level of color accuracy, with a color deviation of DeltaE of less than 1. This means that color deviations should not normally be visible to the naked eye, although this also depends on viewing habits. The BT.2020 color space is covered 110 percent, which promises a colorful reproduction.

It is a smart projector, so an operating system is installed. The MT9669 SoC with 4 gigabytes of RAM and 32 gigabytes of internal memory should sufficiently accelerate the GMUI 6.0 and allow media content to be displayed directly. HDMI and USB are also included, allowing game consoles to be connected and media stored on USB sticks to be played. The stand allows the system to be tilted and fully rotated, which should make it easy to set up. In addition to the projector itself, the scope of delivery also includes a remote control.
