As we get closer to the official Intel Lunar Lake release scheduled for early September, more details regarding laptop models equipped with Core Ultra 200V processors are likely to leak out, be it from OEMs or certification databases. One such leak recently appeared on the Energy Star side of the Device.report database that details some power and CPU specs for an unreleased MSI Prestige 13 AI EVO successor.
The leaked model’s codename is MS-13Q3 and the database also mentions the MSI Prestige 13 AI EVO A2VMTG variant name. According to the Energy Star power requirements, this laptop is a Category 2 device equipped with an Intel Core Ultra 7 258V processor, which integrates 8 CPU cores (4x Lion Cove P-cores and 4x Skymont E-cores) running at base 2.2 GHz plus 32 GB on-die LPDDR5X-8533 RAM. From previous Core Ultra 200V leaks, we also know that this CPU model has TDPs ranging between 17 and 30 W, leading to 4.8 GHz boost clocks for the P-cores and 3.7 GHz for the E-cores. The SoC also comes with an Arc 140V Xe2 iGPU running at 1.95 GHz and an NPU with 47 TOPS performance.
There are some details about the laptop's power efficiency. The database mentions that while the laptop is off, the device draws only 0.4 W, while in Sleep mode it consumes 0.6 W and in idle the draw varies between 5.2 and 14 W. Moreover, the typical energy consumption (TEC) is 17 kWh.
Strangely enough, the database mentions that the “date available on market” for this model is August 12 2024, but the Lunar Lake laptops are expected to launch in September. The regions where this model will be available include the US, Switzerland, Taiwan, Japan and Canada.
