Released on April 21st, 2022, Ubuntu 22.04 LTS "Jammy Jellyfish" will get support until April 2027. Its latest update, unleashed yesterday, was supposed to arrive two weeks ago. While Ubuntu 22.04.5 LTS does not come with any major visual or functional changes, it packs quite a few tweaks and fixes, as well as multiple updated packages. These are the highlights of the rather long list of refreshed components:
In addition to the above, it should also be noted that Ubuntu Desktop gets 10 color choices for dark and light styles, GNOME received features and fixes for both version 41 and version 42, and more. All the details can be found in the official release notes, available via the link in the Source(s) section.
