Steam's Summer Sale has previously played host to some of the best game discounts, and this year seems to be stacking up for another home run by Valve. A trailer (watch below) teasing some of the Steam Summer Sale discounted games was just released in a post on social media platform X (formerly Twitter).

As of writing, the exact discounts have not yet been disclosed, but Valve confirmed the following games will feature in the 2024 Summer Sale:

• Rainworld
• Palworld
• iRacing
• Disney Dreamlight Valley
• Supermarket Simulator
• Kebab Chefs! Restaurant Simulator
• Manor Lords
• Stellaris
• The Planet Crafter
• Content Warning
• Party Animals
• Ultimate Chicken Horse
• Roboquest
• Batman: Arkham Knight

As is always the case with these Steam Sale events, there is some fluff, but there are bound to be plenty of great deals and discounts to be had.

Along with the teased game discounts, the Steam Summer Sale trailer confirmed a new category, called Deep Discounts, which is set to feature discounts of up to 95%. During the announcement of the Deep Discounts category, a wall of game posters containing everything from older AAA games, like Borderlands 2, to newer indie masterpieces, like Celeste and Frost Punk. The Persona 3 Reload poster also made a brief appearance during this part of the video.

It's not guaranteed that these games will be on sale as part of the Deep Discounts category, however, but it is exciting to see fan-favourite games make the list for the 2024 Steam Summer Sale, nonetheless.

The 2024 Steam Summer Sale starts on Thursday, June 27 at 10 AM Pacific time (5 PM UTC)
