Nothing has released plenty of smartphones this year by its standards. For context, it kicked off the year by introducing the Phone (2a), which it followed four months later with the CMF Phone 1. However, less than a month passed before Nothing launched the Phone (2a) Plus (curr. $429 on Amazon) with a few marginal improvements over the originalPhone (2a).
Now, it has begun teasing the announcement of a new product altogether. Unfortunately, it is unlikely to be a long-awaited new flagship smartphone. Likewise, the teaser embedded below suggests that Nothing does not intend to release a successor to last year's Ear (2) earbuds either.
Instead, it looks as if Nothing is preparing to unveil its alternative to Bose's Ultra Open Earbuds or Huawei's FreeClip earbuds. While speculation on our behalf, the tagline 'out in the open' and the accompanying teaser image imply that Nothing has an open earbud of sorts in development. Currently, the company reports that its 'new arrival is landing' on September 24. Thus, we imagine that it will share more teasers between now and next Tuesday.
