Apple's "It's Glowtime" event is set for September 9, and in this event, the company is expected to roll up the curtains of the iPhone 16 lineup. Per the recent leaks, the Pro phones in the series will be getting a new colorway, and this isn't anything out of the blue, as Apple introduces a new color for its top-end phones each year.
According to a recent case leak, this new colorway could be called Gold Titanium, but some reports claim that it could have a brown finish instead. However, per the video teaser from a Dubai retailer called Sharaf DG, the new color for iPhone 16 Pro phones could have a coffee finish.
The 14-second video didn't get into details, though. It shows the iconic triple-camera array coming out of a cup full of coffee. Of course, the camera island didn't actually have a pure coffee color, but all the previous iPhone models had a two-tone finish on the back, with the camera array having a different color accent than the rest of the body.
This video teaser also zooms into the coffee cup before the camera array emerges, which could suggest an upgrade to the camera setup. The new iPhone 16 Pro models could feature a better telephoto sensor. Worth noting that the past reports did hint that both the Pro phones could sport a 5x telephoto.
Of course, the zooming aspect in the video could also be hinting at a new macro mode. Apple has been offering a macro photography feature from the iPhone 13 Proseries, which utilizes the ultra-wide angle sensor. The company could be enhancing it on the upcoming iPhone 16 Pro phones.
While these details remain unconfirmed by Apple itself, the "It's Glowtime" event isn't far from now. So you don't need to wait long to learn everything that's new on the iPhone 16 Pro models.
