RedMagic is best known for releasing gaming smartphones at aggressive prices, including the RedMagic 9 Pro (curr. $749 on Amazon). However, it has now revealed new plans to launch its first gaming laptop, a teaser for which it shared at the end of last month.
As the image below shows, RedMagic intends to offer the unnamed device with a 14th Gen Intel Core i9 processor, presumably the Core i9-14900HX. With that being said, a recent Geekbench listing suggested that RedMagic potentially has a cheaper Core i9-13950HX variant planned as well. At any rate, RedMagic has confirmed that it will pair the laptop with an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4070 GPU, although its total graphics power (TGP) details remain unknown for now.
Moreover, RedMagic is marketing the laptop on its AI credentials. As far as we can tell, it is referring to NVIDIA's Deep Learning Super Sampling (DLSS) technology, which the laptop will likely have to lean on to handle some modern triple-A games. RedMagic will officially announce its debut gaming laptop on July 3 at 11:00 UTC. Thus, we imagine that the company will reveal more details about the device between now and then.
