Realme has unveiled another "flagship killer" smartphone as a part of its GT series. The Realme GT 6 is essentially a beefier version of the Realme GT 6T that comes with a better SoC, more RAM/storage and Wi-Fi 7 connectivity- a rare feature in mid-range smartphones.
As predicted by an earlier leak, the Realme GT 6 uses a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 SoC. It comes with what Realme calls "Geek Power Tuning" that supposedly lets you fine-tune your SoC based on your requirements. You can pair it with up to 16 GB of RAM and 512 GB of storage. The panel has a touch sampling rate of 2,500 Hz. That, combined with its 10,000 mm2 vapour chamber, makes it an attractive buy for gamers.
The Realme GT 6 uses the same 6.78-inch 1.2K 120 Hz 8T LTPO AMOLED screen found on the GT 6T. It also shares the 50 MP primary camera sensor, 8 MP ultra-wide-angle lens, 32 MP selfie camera and all of its software-driven features. Lastly, the Realme GT 6 comes with a 5,500 mAh battery with 120 Watt Super VOOC fast charging support. Realme claims you can get 50% charge in just 10 minutes and a full battery in 26 minutes. A single charge will supposedly last you two days.
The base Realme GT 6 variant with 8 GB RAM, 256 GB storage costs €599.99. Its 12 GB RAM version will set you back by €699.99. Lastly, the maxed-out version with 12 GB RAM and 512 GB storage retails at €799.99. You get a €50 discount if you purchase the smartphone between June 20 and July 4.
