Razer Wolverine V3 Pro debuts as new esports-grade wireless controller

The Wolverine series has dropped thePlayStationbuttons of theV2 Profor the8-way D-padandRazer Mecha Tactile Action Buttonsof its Designed for Xbox successor.

The OEM asserts that the V3 Pro gets even moreesports-ready to the back with 4 newmousebutton-like paddles and dual claw-grip bumpers, all of which can be re-mapped. The controller's bespoketriggerscan also switch between long- and short-pull modes for greater speed or precision respectively.

The controller's newthumbsticks are also touted as lighter, more accurate and responsive, yet less fragile, than their "traditional" counterparts due to their "pro-grade" construction. Razer also ships long and shorts versions with each V3 Pro, so that the user can mix and match them as they please.

The Wolverine V3 Pro is available through Razer or Amazon at a starting price of $199. It debuts alongside the Wolverine V3 Tournament Edition, a wired version without an RGB logo that goes for $99.99 instead.
