Oukitel has unveiled a new tablet, namely the OT11, which is definitely not aimed at demanding users, but rather customers who want a large and relatively inexpensive tablet with sufficient features for everyday use. TheUnisoc Tiger T606 is not a particularly powerful computing chip and the RAM is also relatively meager. Although Oukitel advertises a working memory of up to 16 GB, the physical RAM is only 4 GB. The internal memory measures 128 GB, but can be expanded using a memory card. Android 14, a modern operating system, is installed, but there are unlikely to be any major updates.
An 11-inch screen is installed. Widewine L1 certification is advertised, allowing content from streaming service providers such as Netflix to be played in full resolution. At a weight of 524 gm and a thickness of 8 mm, the tablet is very portable. The four inbuilt loudspeakers also promise decent playback of audio content.
A battery with a capacity of 8,000 mAh is installed, which should allow a runtime of up to 10 hours of web browsing. The main camera has a resolution of 13 MP and the front camera 8 MP, of which the latter supports facial unlocking. Dual SIM operation is supported without memory expansion, and a GNSS module with GPS, Glonass, Galileo and Beidou support is available. Lastly, a jack socket is on board
Availability has not yet been announced and the price is listed at $189.99, which is unlikely to be the final price
