The OPPO Find X7 Ultra was hailed as one of the best smartphones for mobile photography in 2024, and its successor is believed to improve on these accolades with improved hardware, particularly in terms of its supposedly "killer" dual periscope zoom lenses.
Now, the Find X8 Ultra is tipped to live up to this hype by launching alongside its own version of the Xiaomi 14 Ultra's Photography Kit, not to mention what is vaguely described in a new Smart Pikachu leak as a first-party OPPO gimbal.
These products might be part of OPPO's allegedly planned foray into the magnetic accessory market, which might also involve the OEM's take on a product like RedMagic's latest snap-on smartphone cooler.
However, the new "ecosystem" is also thought to miss out on one of its greatest sources of potential: the ability tosupport(orclone)Apple's MagSafetechnology. According to another typically reliable tipster, Digital Chat Station, OPPO will apparentlyrefrain from doing so in order to stay out of another patent infringement dispute.
Nevertheless, the OEM reportedly believes that its new line of magnetic gadgets will be enough to draw some consumers away from their iPhones to its next-gen smartphones instead.
