Motorola has released countless devices this year, although only two of them are foldables. For context, while most of the world has received the pair as the Razr 50 and Razr 50 Ultra, Motorola offers them in North America as the Razr 2024 and Razr 2024 Plus (curr. $999.99 on Amazon). However, it seems that Motorola could actually have another foldable waiting in the wings.

As the screenshot below shows, HDR10 has now certified a device called the Razr 50s. Unfortunately, the certification does not reveal anything else about the device, other than its manufacturer is Motorola Mobility LLC. Nonetheless, one can infer that the Razr 50s has at least one HDR10 compatible display, just like the existing Razr 50 and Razr 50 Ultra.

It remains to be seen whether this certification extends to both its displays, though. Likewise, it is unclear what type of cover display the Razr 50s has. With that being said, the device's name and the existence of Razr 50 and Razr 50 Ultra as mid-range and flagship options implies that the Razr 50s will be some sort of budget alternative. Potentially, the Razr 50s could be Motorola's challenger to the Nubia Flip 5G and Blackview Hero 10, which have pushed the starting price of a current-generation foldable below $500.
