RetroHandhelds has noticed that SJGAM is preparing to release another retro gaming handheld. For context, the company introduced the M25 last month, which shamelessly bandwagoned on the popularity of the PlayStation Portal (curr. $199 on Amazon). SJGAM is no stranger to selling devices that resemble their contemporaries though, of which the M19 is another example.

Now, it has created the M21, a 3.5-inch gaming handheld that relies upon an 'N909' SoC that runs EmuELEC 4.3. A relatively unknown chipset, the N909 is said to feature two CPU cores that range between 1.2-1.8 GHz and should be powerful enough to emulate up to PS1 games. Moreover, the M21 features a 3,000 mAh battery, a USB Type-C port and an HDMI port for connecting the device to an external monitor.

Furthermore, SJGAM has included a pair of joysticks, a relatively large d-pad, a set of ABXY buttons and two sets of shoulder buttons. AsRetroHandheldsnotes, SJGAM appears to draw heavily on the design of Game Console R36S, itself a copycat of the Powkiddy RGB20S. Allegedly, the M21 should be available soon for roughly $30, although it remains to be seen exactly when and in what storage options.
