LG has expanded its MyView Smart Monitor range with two new 34-inch options, only a few days after it opened presales in Japan for 27-inch and 32-inch alternatives. This time, the company has presented the MyView Smart Monitor 34SR65QC, which it intends to launch alongside the similar 34SR60QC. Please note that LG includes the following footnote in its press release:

LG MyView Smart Monitor is available in two versions: one offering tilt- and height-adjustability (model 34SR65QC) and one providing tilt-adjustability (model 34SR60QC). All other technical specifications, features and capabilities are common to both versions.

By technical specifications, LG means a VA panel that outputs at 3,440 x 1,440 pixels in a 21:9 aspect ratio with 300 nits peak brightness and 99% sRGB colour space coverage. Additionally, the new models support a special display mode that renders content in 16:9 while showing AI tools in a smaller 5:9 window at the panel's bottom right edge. Moreover, LG pre-installs its webOS platform, which provides access to various streaming services, as well as AirPlay 2 and ScreenShare casting services.

Currently, LG has only confirmed that it hopes to release the 34SR60QC and 34SR65QC next month in South Korea and the US, adding that 'availability in other markets [will] follow soon after'. Unfortunately, it has not confirmed pricing for South Korea or the US yet, let alone in which other markets the 34SR60QC or 34SR65QC will be available.
