In recent weeks, it seemed that@billbil_kunhad stepped back from leaking details about the Epic Games Store's future free game giveaways. However, that changed last week when they outlined $80 worth of free content headed the way of Epic Games account holders, full details of which we have covered separately. Now,@billbil_kunhas managed to confirm the storefront's plans even further out than they have previously.

Specifically, they have revealed which game will be discounted to $0.00 on August 29, which we would have typically assumed they would disclose much closer to this week's free game giveaway refresh. Regardless,@billbil_kunclaims thatWild Card Footballwill receive the storefront's free treatment on that date until 15:00 UTC on September 4. For reference, the giveaway likely only extends to the base version of Wild Card Football, for which Epic Games charges $29.99 in the US.

Please note that this price is not currently the cheapest way of purchasing the game on PC, though. Instead, Steam is currently running a 75% sale onWild Card Football, which reduces its price to $7.49 until August 26.
