More promotional materials relating to the Pixel 9 series have leaked online. For reference, the new leak arrived shortly after 91mobiles shared multiple images that also showcased the Pixel Buds Pro 2 and Pixel Watch 3 or Pixel Watch 3 XL. This time, various sources have posted promotional videos in which new software features can be seen.
Principally, it seems Google will advertise three new software features when it begins selling the Pixel 9 series next month. However, at least one will not be ready at launch, mirroring the slow rollout of 'Video Boost' for the Pixel 8 Pro (curr. $749 on Amazon). For the Pixel 9 series, this will apply to 'Super Res Zoom Video', an expansion of Google's existing 'Super Res Zoom' functionality for enhancing image quality at high zoom levels.
Similarly, Google will introduce 'Add Me' through a subsequent software update. As the video below shows, Add Me allows the creation of a single group shot from multiple photos of people stood in front of the same background. Moreover, Google is adding 'Pixel Screenshots', a feature that brings Windows Recall-esque functionality to Pixel devices. Theoretically, handing responsibility to users to create these screenshots should eliminate some of the privacy concerns associated with Windows Recall.
