TheZero 30 5G is a smartphone so geared toward mobile photography and videography that Infinix named one of its colorways Magic Hour. Indeed, it can challenge even the new Vivo V40 series with a 50MP selfie camera of its own, one rated for unusually high-quality recording right from its 144Hz screen (according to the OEM, at least).

Now, it is due an upgraded model, according to a new leak. It may have been certified alongside the equally alleged Zero Flip as the Infinix X6861 by the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS), thereby hinting that both devices might launch soon.

The same device has also recently been spotted on the Google Play Console database, overtly identified as a Zero 40 5G that will switch from the Dimensity 8020 SoC of its predecessor to theDimensity 8200. It has 12GB of RAM in that leak, although the 30 5G has an 8GB RAM base model that currently goes for INR 21,799 (~$260) on Amazon.in.
