Honor has now presented the Magic V3 globally, under two months after releasing the same device in China. For context, Honor has also showcased the MagicBook Art 14, MagicPad 2 and Watch 5 globally today, all at IFA 2024 in Berlin. Undoubtedly, the Magic V3 is the star of the show though, which is reflected in its high starting price.
To recap, the Magic V3 rivals the Galaxy Z Fold6 (curr. $1,670 - 512 GB on Amazon) with a 9.2 mm or 9.3 mm thick housing, depending on whether you opt for its glass or vegan leather options, respectively. While the Magic V3 is over 30% thinner than Samsung's latest foldable when closed, it still packs a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset, a 5,150 mAh silicon carbon (Si/C) battery. Added to that, Honor has included five high-resolution cameras, one of which is a 50 MP and 3.5 optical telephoto camera, plus 6.43-inch cover and 7.92-inch internal LTPO OLED displays that deliver 120 Hz refresh rates.
Unlike last year, Honor has actually decided to start selling its latest foldable from today in the UK. However, it remains to be seen when the device will actually start shipping. Mirroring the release of theMagic V2in January, the Magic V3 is being offered in the UK with a bevvy of launch discounts, too.
Despite starting at £1,699 in the UK, Honor will bundle a complimentary pair ofBang & Olufsen Beoplay HXheadphones, which still sell for roughly £380 in the UK. Please note that this offer is available not just through Honor's website but also via Amazon, Argos, O2, Three and Very. By contrast, the following other launch offers are exclusive toHonor's webshop:
