ASUS has showcased a new NUC-branded mini-PC, less than a month after bringing the NUC 14 Performance to Europe, the US and the UK. While the NUC 14 Performance (curr. $1,312 on Amazon) relies upon Meteor Lake processors, ASUS has equipped the NUC 14 Pro AI with a member of Intel's new Lunar Lake platform.
Specifically, ASUS has installed the Core Ultra 9 288V inside a 0.6-litre case that is just 33 mm tall. For reference, the Core Ultra 9 288V combines four efficiency cores with four performance cores while also delivering an Arc 140V iGPU. On top of that, the processor contains an AI accelerator that provides 48 TOPS of theoretical performance.
Consequently, the NUC 14 Pro AI is compatible with Copilot AI features, for which ASUS has included built-in microphones and speakers too. On top of that, the mini-PC features two USB Type-A ports, a 3.5 mm jack, HDMI connectivity and a pair of Thunderbolt 4 ports. Please note that the machine's LPDDR5X RAM is soldered, which restricts upgrade options to the device's M.2 2280 SSD. Unfortunately, ASUS has not confirmed pricing or availability yet, although more details about the NUC 14 Pro AI can be found on the company's website.
