The Asus ExpertBook P5 was first revealed at Computex as one of the first Lunar Lake laptops for business. It has now been fully showcased, and it starts at $1,099.99, with the top-end configuration being $1,489.99. The launch is set for later this year.
As for the specs, the ExpertBook P5 packs the Intel Core Ultra 7 258V, one of the top-end options from the new Lunar Lake range. It can be configured with 32 GB of LPDDR5X RAM and 1 TB of PCIe 4.0 storage (2 TB Samsung 990 Pro curr. $169.99 on Amazon). While that's not the fastest Intel Core Ultra 200V series CPU, it brings the top-end Arc 140V iGPU.
Moreover, the NPU of the Core Ultra 7 258V can deliver up to 47 TOPS of AI performance. This makes the ExpertBook P5 meet the requirements of the Microsoft Copilot PC program. Alongside Microsoft's suite of AI features, the Lunar Lake laptop also brings Asus AI applications designed to boost efficiency and productivity.
Given that it's a laptop for business individuals, Asus kept the form factor light and travel-friendly. The all-metal body weighs as low as 1.3 KG, and the 180-degree flat hingemakes it ideal for business applications. ExpertBook P5 also has what the company calls "business-grade security," which ensures extra security for critical data.
Other core specs of the Asus ExpertBook P5 include a 63 Wh battery, WiFi 6E, two Thunderbolt 4 and two USB 3.2 Type-A ports, and a 14-inch QHD display with 144 Hz refresh rate and 100% sRGB coverage. You can learn more from the spec sheet attached below.
