Anker has announced that the Nebula Cosmos 4K SE projector is coming to the EU. The model was recently launched alongside theNebula Capsule Air in the US. The new device arrives as a more affordable version of the older Cosmos 4K launched a couple of years ago.
The Cosmos 4K SE has a hybrid light source, combining LED and laser technology to generate up to 1,800 ANSI lumens brightness. While this peak brightness is lower than that of the original Cosmos 4K, the new version has additional features like support for Dolby Vision and the NebulaMaster image processing engine for natural colors. You can use the projector to throw images up to 200 inches (~508 cm) wide, quickly perfecting them with autofocus, auto keystone correction and auto obstacle avoidance, amongst other tools.
The projector uses the Google TV OS, which allows you to access many popular streaming apps with 2 16GB of memory. On top of this, there are a range of ports, including HDMI 2.1 (eARC), USB-A and AUX, and two built-in 15W speakers. The Anker Nebula Cosmos 4K SE projector is expected to go on sale on September 19th for €1,499.99. It remains to be seen whether or not the cheaper Nebula Capsule Air model could arrive in this market.
