The HYgreen GOMOW robot lawn mower is due to launch in Germany soon and could arrive in other countries in the future. The product will be shown at spoga gafa 2024 in Cologne from June 16th to 18th, with the California-based company located at Hall 5.1 Stand B050.
The GOMOW uses GPS RTK positioning to navigate your yard, using solar-powered antennas around your garden rather than a boundary wire. The mower also has an onboard camera and sensors to help it avoid obstacles. The robot returns to its dock to wirelessly recharge as needed, but the battery is also removable, allowing you to charge it indoors. You can control the device via the GOMOW app, setting up virtual boundaries and adjusting the grass cutting height between 25 and 65 mm. The blades are removable to make them easier to clean, though the product is rated as IPX5 water resistant, meaning it can withstand splashes.
You will be able to pre-order the HYgreen GOMOW robotic mower in Germany in July. It has been suggested that orders will be taken via the company’s website, with the first 50 units on offer for €1,299 and another 100 units for the higher price of €1,499. However, the brand’s website suggests that there will be a total of 500 units available for pre-order and hints at a Kickstarter campaign, which could mean the product is on offer to customers in more countries worldwide.
