Leaker @smashx_60 has treated followers to a new set of HMD Skyline-related tidbits, a week or so after the same device was spotted on Geekbench. To recap, HMD Global is expected to deliver the HMD Skyline with the same Qualcomm Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 chipset that also powers devices like the Motorola Edge 50 Fusion, Xiaomi Redmi Note 13 Pro 5G and POCO X6 (curr. $252.92 on Amazon) to name but a few. Although HMD Global has not officially announced the HMD Skyline yet,@smashx_60has obtained a few promotional photos and videos that we have embedded below.

As previous leaks suggested, the HMD Skyline is a facsimile of classic Lumia devices like the Nokia Lumia 920. In other words, the device has a boxy design with rounded sides but flat top and bottom edges akin to recent Galaxy S 'Ultra' smartphones like the Galaxy S24 Ultra. With that being said, HMD Global will offer the HMD Skyline in more playful colours than theGalaxy S24 Ultra, including a striking pink option that can be seen in the short advert below.

Moreover,@smashx_60has reiterated that HMD Global has also equipped the device with a large 120 Hz display, as well as a 4,900 mAh battery and a 108 MP primary camera that supports optical image stabilisation (OIS). Furthermore, the company intends to offer a Business Edition variant that it will provide with an additional two years of Android security patch updates; please see our earlier article for more details in this regard. While a launch date remains unknown for now, the promotional materials that have leaked so far all point towards a release at some point next month.
