HMD Skyline gets a new color option and official magnetic case

When the HMD Skyline(available on Amazon for $499) was launched last month, it was released in two colors - Neon Pink and Twisted Black. They are now joined by a third color dubbed Blue Topaz. HMD Global has also announced an official case for the phone that has built-in magnets.
The new Blue Topaz color seems to be available in only one configuration - 12GB RAM 256GB storage. It also appears to be sold in select regions as at the time of writing. While it is available in some parts of Europe such as Ireland, Germany, and the UK, it is not available in the US. So you may want to check your local HMD website or retailer to see if the new color is available. For a limited time, those who order the new color option would get it with a free pair of wireless earbuds.
In addition to the new color, comes a new official case. The HMD Skyline Case is available in the same colors as the phone and has a microfiber lining inside and an exterior that is designed to improve your grip on the phone. The case is made from 100% recycled silicone and PCR (post-consumer resin).
The Skyline Case also has built-in magnets, so you can keep using your Qi2 magnetic wireless charger or other magnetic accessories. Let's hope the magnets in the case are much stronger than the ones in the phone considering Wired revealed in its review that the HMD Skyline tilted to the side when placed on a magnetic charging stand due to the magnets being weak.There is no info yet on the availability of the case and how much it will sell for.
