The Govee TV Light Bars 2 have arrived in North America and Europe. This upgraded model is 31 inches (~79 cm) long and suited to larger TVs from 70 to 85 inches, whereas the original version, shorter at 15 inches (~38 cm), is for TVs between 45 and 70 inches in size.

The TV Light Bars 2 is a set of two lamps with 41 RGBIC light beads. Each device has a 215° curved surface for a wide light angle, and the lens cover is said to double the brightness level compared to the older model. Users can customize the lighting color, brightness, and effects in the Govee Home app, and you can also choose from over 35 scene modes. Alternatively, you can remotely control the lights with Amazon Alexa or Google Assistant voice commands. A built-in microphone lets you set the lighting effects to sync with the TV's sound. Plus, the DreamView Light Show feature will enable you to link other Govee products for a lighting experience that adapts to the content you are watching.

There are three suggested positions for the lights: mounted to the back of your TV, flat on your media unit or upright in their bases next to the TV. You can now buy the Govee TV Light Bars 2 for $159.99/€169.99. For comparison, the older model retails for $69.99/€79.99.
