Over two months have passed since Garmin last released a new stable update for the Fenix 7 series and its peers like the Tactix 7 (curr. $879.99 - renewed on Amazon). In the intervening period, Garmin has introduced various beta updates though, culminating in Beta Version 18.14. Additionally, it also released the Fenix E and Fenix 8, as well as the Enduro 3.
As for the Fenix 7 series, it seems that Garmin will continue to furnish it with new features and bug fixes for a while yet. Although it has not confirmed as much yet, the Fenix 6 series still remains eligible for fresh beta and stable updates, albeit with less frequency than its successor. At any rate, Garmin claims that System Software 18.14 brings nineteen improvements to the Fenix 7 series and related smartwatches, but only when comparing the new update against its predecessor, System Software 17.28.
Please note that the vast majority of these changes are bug fixes to address outstanding issues. Specifically, Garmin describes making sixteen bug fixes this time around, with Garmin Share serving as the only true new feature bundled within System Software 18.14. Please see Garmin's forum posts linked below and its changelog for further details.
