The GameSir T7 is the latest wired gaming controller from GameSir. The new controller is designed for the Xbox consoles (Series S/X and Xbox One) but is also compatible with Windows 10/11 and Steam.
The controller has a similar layout to the official Xbox Wireless Controller with membrane D-pad and face buttons. However, it doesn't have back buttons like the GameSir G7 HE (curr. available on Amazon for $44.99). GameSir says the controller has non-magnetic hall effect joysticks that have a lifespan of 5 million cycles and should remain wear-free during use.
The T7 controller also has precision-tuned hall effect analog triggers which have a consistent smooth pull and should be handy when playing racing games. Users can also switch to hair trigger mode when playing shooting games.
There are four rumble motors - one in each grip and trigger- for realistic vibration feedback. The joysticks have anti-friction rings and the grips have a laser-engraving for better grip. There's also a 3.5mm audio jack and a microphone mute button.
The GameSir T7 is available in Creamsicle White, Ruby Red, and Sapphire Blue with the last two being translucent. There's no mention of the faceplates being replaceable, so you are most likely stuck with whatever color you choose. The controller comes with a detachable cable, which sadly isn't braided, but matches the color of the controller.
Priced at $34.99 in the US and £39.99 in the UK, the controller is available to buy on Amazon US, Amazon UK, and GameSir's official website.
