Reliable leaker @OnLeaks has returned to reveal more details about the Galaxy Z Fold6, four months after he published high-resolution render images of the same device. Since then, the device has been subject to various leaks, some of which from regulatory bodies like the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) in the US. Additionally, Evan Blass has been revealing official shots of all the devices that Samsung will showcase at next month's Galaxy Unpacked event.
According to @OnLeaks, the Galaxy Z Fold6 will start at $1,899 in the US with 256 GB of storage, with 512 GB and 1 TB variants priced at $2,019 and $2,259, respectively. If his information is correct, then the Galaxy Z Fold6 will cost $100 more than the Galaxy Z Fold5 (curr. $1,119.99 renewed on Amazon) across the board. With that being said, Samsung will likely offer free memory upgrades at launch, as well as heavily discounted accessories like its 'Starter Kit'.
On top of that, @OnLeaks reiterates Blass' earlier leak about Galaxy Z Fold6 colour options, adding that the device will weigh 239 g. Consequently, this year's Galaxy Z Fold will weigh 14 g less than its predecessor, a 5.5% drop between generations. Moreover, the Galaxy Z Fold6 is said to also contain a 2,600-nit internal display. However, its display dimensions, cameras, charging and battery capacity will all remain unchanged from last year'sGalaxy Z Fold5.
