Fortnite Chapter 6 Season 2: New "Gold" theme and Boon system detailed explanation

Chapter 6 Season 2 officially launched, the game adopts a brand new golden theme and brings a series of updates, including new props and abilities that enhance gameplay and strategy. The most eye-catching one is the Boon system, which provides players with special buffs for the entire game. This article will explain in detail the acquisition method of the Boon system and various gain effects.

What is Boon?

Boon is a special prop that can be purchased on the black market or obtained from rare treasure chests. There are five Boons, each offering unique advantages:

Boon Name Gain effectGold Rush Boon (Gold Rush Boon) Increase the number of gold coins to collect, destroy objects or open treasure chests to get extra gold coins, and increase movement speed, pickaxe wielding speed and building damage to make resource collection more efficient. Adrenaline Rush Boon (Adrenaline Rush Boon) Provides unlimited energy boosts (similar to the effects of Slap Juice), enhancing mobility and stamina during combat. Vulture Boon (Vulture Boon)Show the enemy's eliminated position on the map (limited duration). Gold Ammo Boon (Gold Ammo Boon) Obtain extra ammunition when collecting gold coins, effectively reducing the risk of insufficient ammunition in combat. Black Market Location

Currently, there are three black markets in the game, located in different areas:

• The first black market is located just south of Magic Mosses. The map is marked with a market logo for easy positioning. You can find Joss NPC here.
• The second black market is located directly north of Crime City, near the east side of the map. We found the golden boom Boon here during our game tests.
• The third black market is located between Seaport City and Masked Meadows. Follow the purple sign on the map and go to the ground to find it.
