DJI has just released a new action camera and a new drone by way of the Osmo Action 5 Pro and Neo (curr. $199 on Amazon). While two hardware releases in a year would normally be enough for GoPro, it seems that DJI has other ideas.
Based on recent leaks, DJI looks set to introduce the Air 3S drone before the end of the year. To that end, retail packaging and launch pricing has already emerged online. Additionally, the Mavic 4 has reared its head again after appearing in hands-on footage earlier this yearwith a triple camera set-up and a new gimbal mechanism.
As expected, the Mavic 4 has a redesigned camera housing too. Added to that, this new housing appears capable of pitching 90 degrees up or down for improved versatility. Unfortunately, most other details about the next Mavic series remain unknown for now, including an approximate release date. However, the re-emergence of the drone in a more complete state implies that DJI may replace the Mavic 3 series before the end of the year.
