Google was founded on September 4, 1998 which means that it is 26 years old this year. To celebrate, it is offeringdiscounts on a handful of its products including smartphones, earbuds, and wearables. So, now may be a good time to get a new phone or a new smartwatch.

The discount starts with the Pixel 8a which launched earlier this year for $499. Google is knocking off $100, which brings the base model with 128GB of storage down to $399. The 256GB version also gets $100 off and can be bought for $459. The good thing about this deal is that it is not limited to the official Google Store but is also available on Amazon.

The Pixel 8a is a pretty solid phone with its 6.1-inch 120Hz OLED display, Tensor G3 chipset, and 8GB of RAM. It also has an IP67 dust and water resistance rating, support for wireless charging, and will get 7 years of OS upgrades and security updates like the Pixel 8 and Pixel 9 series.

If you prefer the newer Pixel 9 series, Google isn't slashing their prices which isn't surprising since they just launched. However, if you trade-in an eligible device, you can get up to $760 back depending on the year, model, configuration, and condition of the device you want to trade-in. Unlike the Pixel 8a discount which runs until September 27, the trade-in deals end on September 30.

If you are looking for a new wearable, Google has slashed the price tags of some Fitbit models such as the Fitbit Luxe Tracker which is down to $149.95 from $199.95 while the Fitbit Sense 2 is $199.95, $50 off its original price.

The Fitbit Ace LTE for kids also gets a $30 discount that brings the price down to $199.95, and unlike the Luxe Tracker and Sense 2 which are only discounted on the Google Store, the Ace LTE is available to buy on Amazon. There are also trade-in deals for the Pixel Watch 3 on the Google Store.

Last on the list is the aging Pixel Buds-A-Series earbuds which were announced back in 2021 but are still Google's cheapest pair of earbuds. Google is offering a 35% discount that brings the price from $99 down to $64 on Amazon and the Google Store.

The Pixel Buds A-Series don't have the bells and whistles of the Pixel Buds Pro 2 such as the Tensor A1 chip, Active Noise Cancellation, and wireless charging. However, there's hands-free help via the Google Assistant or Gemini and adaptive sound which automatically adjusts the volume depending on ambient noise. They are also sweat and water resistant which makes them suitable to wear during workouts.
