505 Games released Ghostrunner 2 in 2023 as the sequel to Ghostrunner. Ghostrunner 2 continues the runner's fight a year after conquering the Keymaster of Dharman Tower — this time, outside the tower taking on a cult of AI cyber ninjas. The sequel builds on the first Ghostrunner with non-linear levels, deeper world-building, more complex boss fights, and motorcycle parkour.

In terms of gameplay mechanics, Ghostrunner 2 follows the fast-paced FPP slasher formula with some roguelite elements thrown in for good measure. Jack's main weapons are his katana, agility, and his abilities — which have also seen an upgrade over the original game.

Ghostrunner 2 is currently sitting at 82% positive on Steam, and critic reviews praised — and lamented — Ghostrunner 2 for its punishing and challenging combat and platforming, where accuracy and timing are both key to success.

Currently, all three versions of Ghostrunner 2 are discounted on Humble Bundle, with the Ghostrunner 2 Deluxe Edition bringing both the biggest discount and the best price. Ghostrunner 2 also isn't a very demanding game, with an Nvidia GeForce GTX 960 and Intel Core i5-4590 and 8 GB of RAM as minimum requirements.
