Besides the snazzy but easy to stain white Cybertruck interior available at launch, Tesla now also has the electric pickup available in a more color.
The new Tactical Grey Cybertruck interior color has gotten its first preview thanks to one lucky new owner who just got delivery of their Foundation Series Cybertruck in the fresh colorway option.
The new interior design color of the pickup matches the roughneck image that Tesla and Elon Musk are trying to create around the Cybertruck any way they can.
The electric truck is positioned as an offroad vehicle for work and play, after all, and the showy white leather interior is anything but.
The video review of the Tactical Grey interior color of the Cybertruck shows that Tesla has clad everything in the new hue, down to the dashboard and door panels.
As with all darker interiors, dust and lighter stains seem to show easier than on the white leather, but in the longer run the dirt it accumulates will be much less visible.
On top of the Foundation Series Cybertruck with its somber Tactical Grey interior, the new owner got a very pleasant delivery experience, too:
That amazing customer service experience was preceded by a really cool "show" put on for and with the cars of everyone with a 2 p.m. pick-up time. I've seen a few other posts about disappointing and/or unceremonious delivery experiences, so I was surprised by this one. I would have been just as happy getting my Beast without it, but it was a really cool touch. (Note to self: figure out how to have my CT's lights do that to my music.) To top off the experience, the gentleman who helped with the label and another roaming Tesla employee spent a lot of time with my wife and me. They set her up with the app and as a driver, they suggested I submit a service ticket for a slightly non-flush bed "wing" right where the open/close buttons sit (but confirmed a repair had been done to address those wings "flying" off that I read about here), and they provided a lot of addition Tesla newb information. Upon driving out the door, we also got some cool Tesla swag - a coffee cup, lunch bag and notebook.
At the recent Annual Stockholder Meeting, Elon Musk said that the Foundation Series deliveries are now winding down, and next quarter Tesla should start sending regular Cybertruck orders to their rightful owners.
