Anker has launched the new Charging Station (8-in-1, 20W) in the US. The previously rumored device arrived shortly after the company released the more powerful Prime Charging Station (8-in-1, 240W).
This latest charging station has four AC outlets with a pop-up mechanism that helps to keep the device slim when not in use. At one end of the device are two USB-C ports and USB-A ports. It is worth noting that only one of the two USB-C ports offers up to 20W, with the second capped at 15W and the USB-A outputs delivering 12W. The 20W output is said to allow you to charge an iPhone 15 to 53% in half an hour. When multiple USB ports are in use, a 15W output is shared between them.
The accessory measures 4.72 x 3.15 x 0.71 inches (~120 x 80 x 18 mm) and weighs 11.64 oz (~330 g). The slim plug’s body is 0.35 inches thick, sits at a 45° angle, and the cable is flat. You can buy the Anker Charging Station (8-in-1, 20W) in the US, with the white model priced at $25.99 and the black variant costing $29.99. Whether or when versions of the product will be available for other markets like the UK and the EU remains to be seen.
