Deliver Us The Moon was planned to launch on Nintendo Switch consoles after it was released on PC, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, PS4, and PS5. However, while it was in the works, developers scrapped the plans to release it for the handhelds in 2020. The title initially launched in 2018 for the other platforms, and after all these years, it seems that the Switch port is finally happening.
Keoken Interactive and Wired Productions have uploaded a new trailer for the Nintendo Switch port. According to the trailer, the game will launch for the Switch, Switch Lite, and Switch OLED (curr. $329.23 on Amazon) on July 16th. This port is said to be identical to those of the other platforms, but given the hardware limitations, it won't be playable in the handheld mode.
Instead, to play the game on a Switch, you will need to keep the console in docked mode. When it comes to the price, it's expected to be the same as the other versions, at $24.99. But for this port, the developers will put all the money generated from the sales towards the next entry of the series, Deliver Us Home.
This isn't the only game to look forward to, though. A couple of other games are also said to be in the works for Nintendo Switch, including a new Zelda and Mario game. Nonetheless, if you want to learn more about Deliver Us The Moon, check out the launch date trailer that's attached below.
