Your blaster is a versatile and reliable weapon in Star Wars Outlaws, which is great because it’s the only one you’ve got. If you want to upgrade the different modules of the gun, you have to hunt down specific parts that each upgrade requires.
Note that currently, not all of the blaster upgrade parts are public knowledge. As I play the game and as more information comes to light, I will update this article. Check back soon!
When upgrading blaster modules in Star Wars Outlaws, almost every upgrade requires either a Blaster Recirculator or one unique and specific part. The final upgrade in each module configuration has its own specific part that’s much harder to acquire than the regular resources or Blaster Recirculators.
You need a total of 15 Blaster Recirculators for all the Blaster upgrades in Star Wars Outlaws, but thankfully they’re not too difficult to track down.
Blaster Recirculators can exclusively be found in Imperial Vaults, meaning you’ll have to take on some risky jobs to grind for them by hand.
Alternatively, you can buy them for Credits. The following vendors in the following locations will sell you Blaster Recirculators. Make sure you have Good or better Reputation to make the part cheaper.
It is hidden inside a cave in Flyer’s Ridge on Toshara, Typhon’s Rock. Before going after it, you’ll need the Bolt Blaster mod to destroy the Amberine wall blocking your entrance. Descend through the cave and take the lift down until you reach a chest containing the Fastshot Trigger.
That’s all there is to it, although be mindful of the harsh winds. Make sure to time your sprints carefully!
The Gas Acceleration Converter is needed for the final upgrade for the Rapid Plasma configuration.
This item can be purchased from Viska the Ashiga Clan Armorer on Kijimi. This item is exclusively from the clan’s stock, so you’ll need to be in their good graces. it costs 1,300 Credits if you’re chummy with the clan, which isn’t too bad at all.
The Actuating Diffuser Module is needed for the final upgrade for the Heavy Plasma configuration.
This upgrade can also be purchased from someone, but getting to them is easier said than done. On Akiva, in The Great Basin, a vendor sells the part on the larger island. To get across, you’ll need the Speeder Repulsor upgrade from Temin Wexley (also on Akiva).
Ride your speeder out into the water to reach the largest island (the one with the spacecraft wreckage). Around the back end of the island hides Namda Eaakee, a trader who’ll sell the part to you for 1,500 Credits and 10 Direct-Energy Circuits.
The HD05-G Circuit is needed for the final upgrade for the Burst Ion configuration.
This upgrade is found in a hideout in Tosharan Mountains in the Lost Steppe, just south west of the Grazing Fields. Before hunting down this part, you’ll need the Bolt Blaster mod to break through Amberine.
To get into the hideout, you’ll need to use a ramp on the east side to launch your speeder over the gap. With some exploring, you may be able to find the hideout, although it’s likely better to wait for the intel for this one.
The BT-P7 is needed for the final upgrade for the Surge Ion configuration.
This part is sold by a band of Jawas in their Sandcrawler in Mos Eisley on Tatooine. The Sandcrawler travels around Tatooine, but you’re guaranteed to find it eventually parked just outside the city. Entip will sell you the part for 2,000 Credits and a Fusion Engine Core.
The BT-2X – Charge Controller is needed for the final upgrade for the Bolt Power configuration.
This upgrade is found in a cavern in the South Jundland Wastes of Tatooine. The intel will point the way to the cave, where you’ll need to use your speeder to leap over the gap. Upon hitting the locked door, remember that you’ll need to power the Ion nodes with your blaster.
At the end of the cavern will hide the BT-2X – Charge Controller.
The Particle Stability Converter is needed for the final upgrade for the Blast Power configuration.
This part is sold by a Pyke merchant as part of their faction stock in the Pyke Crystal Mine on Akiva. They’ll sell the part for 1,300 Credits as long as you’re on their good side.
The Trans-Accelerator is needed for the final upgrade for the Pulse Power configuration.
The intel for this part will bring you to south west edge of the map on Akiva, in The Great Basin. Like before, you’ll need the Speeder Repulsor upgrade to travel over the water. You’ll also need the Fusion Cutter.
Once on the edge of the map, you’ll need to climb up the cliff and cut through a fence to enter the search area. Using Nix, you should be able to work your way through the area pretty quickly. Inside the chest before the once-locked door is the Trans-Accelerator.
Now that you know everything we know about the varying Blaster upgrade parts in Star Wars Outlaws, you can make sure that your Blaster is as upgraded as it can be for any of the trials ahead.
