A new Anker 7-in-1 USB-C hub is rumored to be on the way. With model number A8374, the rectangular accessory appears to have a metallic grey finish and a black USB 3.2 Gen 2 USB-C cable connecting to the host device.
The 7-in-1 hub appeared in an image on Reddit shared by u/joshuadwx. The accessory is said to allow you to connect to two displays, thanks to dual HDMI 1.4 ports, for an up to 4K@30Hz resolution. However, when you connect two monitors, the resolution is limited to 1080p@60Hz. On the other side of the accessory is a single USB 3.2 Gen 2 USB-A port with a data transfer rate of 10Gbps, and three USB 2.0 USB-A ports offering a lower rate of 480 Mbps, which could be used to connect peripherals such as a keyboard or mouse. The final port is USB-C PD-IN for a 100W input, providing 85W pass-through charging to the laptop. A list of compatible devices has yet to be provided.
The Anker 7-in-1 USB-C Hub is expected to retail for $39.99, though it is unclear when it will launch. It also remains to be seen whether the product will be released in other markets like Europe. The company already offers models like the 343 USB-C Hub (7-in-1, Dual 4K HDMI), which is slightly more expensive at $49.99.
