Indy’s adventure takes him to Sukhothai after testing the Machu Picchu Stone’s power in the Himalayas. With the Third Reich closing in on you in Indiana Jones and the Great Circle, there’s little time to waste. While the main story here is short-lived, the humid forests and murky swamps hold plenty of side content to tackle along the way.

Among the highlights are the ever-important Ancient Relics for the Riddles of the Ancients Discovery. Sukhothai hides 24 Ancient Relics, and they’re anything but easy pickings. Indy will need to flex his puzzle-solving skills and venture into out-of-the-way spots where these collectibles are hidden.

Sukhothai Ancient Relic Locations In Wat Sa Si

You'll find one Ancient Relic in the cave with the Prayer Wheel puzzle during the Lost in the Past Fieldwork in Wat Sa Si. To reach it, crawl through the narrow passage on the right side of the puzzle room. Once you're through, look for a whip point overhead. Use it to climb up, and you'll spot the Ancient Relic waiting to be picked.

Sukhothai Ancient Relic Locations In The Hidden Pyramid

Early on during the Blessed Pearl Adventure, you'll explore the Hidden Pyramid, where six Ancient Relics are waiting to be uncovered. You’ll need your trusty Breathing Device to access it since the entrance is submerged underwater, and to make matters worse, there’s also a giant snake that'll constantly chase you around.

#	Location Description
1	To the east of where the river tightens, leading to the Hidden Pyramid, you'll be able to park by the shore. Ahead, you'll find a structure across the broken platform. The Ancient Relic is inside, and to grab it, you'll need to jump into the water and head over to the left corner to climb the platform the structure is on.
2	There's a fork in the river that leads to the pyramid. Veering north leads to a waterfall; just behind it, you can squeeze through a gap. You'll soon reach a familiar puzzle that requires inserting some of your previously collected Ancient Relics. It took us 11 Ancient Relics to solve it, and it unlocks the nearby stone door hiding an Ancient Relic.
3	You'll find this one on top of the submerged tower on the right, where you first spot the snake. Simply park your boat nearby and jump on the tower.
4	Once you complete the underwater stretch to the Hidden Pyramid and gain a momentary respite from the snake, simply turn around and head that way to discover an Ancient Relic by a dead end.
5	Once you've entered the pyramid and thrown the first trident to work as a whip point, you'll enter the lost archive with the many large stones you can platform over. Immediately inside, you'll spot the Ancient Relic to the right atop the furthest slab.
6	After slaying the giant snake in the lost archive, head outside and continue to scale the pyramid's tower. As soon as you reach the area where snake's shed its skin, turn around the corner and continue climbing until you can get to this relic.

Cogwheel Puzzle Ancient Relics

Sukhothai Ancient Relic Locations In The Khmer Warrior Temple

You'll find three Sukhothai relics in the Khmer Warrior Temple. Sunan's nephew, Aran, got himself stuck in these ruins, so you'll also visit this location during the Kid Who Vanished Fieldwork to look for him. It's best to finish the side quest first and then retrace your steps to the Ancient Relics afterward.

#	Location Description
1	After rescuing Aran near the end of the side quest, he unlocks the door to the secret chamber in the temple. Inside, the ancient relic rests on Shiva's statue.
2	In the chamber with the Khmer Pipeworks Puzzle, you can enter a room downstairs holding one of the pipes. Here, you'll also find a breakable wall behind which you'll find an Ancient Relic.
3	This one's at the far end of the narrow corridor you can access after unlocking a door with Gina's help.

Sukhothai Ancient Relic Locations In The Secret Khmer Vault

The following Ancient Relics are found in the Secret Khmer Vault at the Explosion Site, but you won't be able to access them unless you start A Study In Fear Fieldwork. Wait until after Annika double-crosses you, as by then, you'll have solved every puzzle in the tomb, leaving you free to grab these relics without distractions.

#	Location Description
1	It's on a raised platform to the right of the statue holding the Idol of Yaksha in the burial chamber with the Demon Tomb's Puzzle. Climb a whip point near the spot where Annika deceived you, then swing over to the platform.
2	After getting swept by fast-flowing water, you'll need to work your way around to the area above that leads to the Demon Tomb's Puzzle. The Ancient Relic is inside a small compartment you'll cross along the way.
3	It's in the earlier sections of the tomb, where you need to bring the cogwheels to a stop. From the lever, jump to the platform across the cogwheel to find the Ancient Relic. You can return to this area by following the narrow path on the left where Anikka loses her arm.

Sukhothai Ancient Relic Locations In The Fascist Armory

An Ancient Relic can be found in the Fascist Armory. The simplest way to claim it is by docking your boat near the Secret Armory Entrance signpost and slipping through an opening in the fence. Once you're across, head to the first tent that's right in front of you. That’s where the Ancient Relic is waiting.

The only catch is that the Fascist Armory is a restricted and heavily guarded area. Worse, a grunt stands right beside the relic. You'll need the Royal Army Outfit to sneak in undetected and avoid trouble.

Sukhothai Ancient Relic Locations In Voss' Camp

One of the Sukhothai Ancient Relics is inside the locked snake-ornamented chest in the southeast tent at Voss' Camp. It's tied to the Serpent's Chest Mystery side quest and to unlock it, you'll need to retrieve the three ancient keys, which are scattered across the Vatican, Gizeh, and Shanghai.

You can revisit these regions anytime through your journal. Just keep in mind that the keys in the Vatican and Gizeh require the Breathing Device since you'll be diving underwater to obtain them.

Sukhothai Ancient Relic Locations In The Hidden Temple

The remaining Ancient Relics are inside the Hidden Temple beneath the ruins of Wat Mahathat. This story-related area becomes accessible later in the Blessed Pearl Adventure in Sukhothai.

#	Location Description
1	After solving the Great Game Puzzle, head through the unlocked passage and dive into the water to find the first Ancient Relic.
2	Beyond the Messenger Statue, descend the lengthy stairs. Just before the entryway, spot a whip point on your right. Swing across, then jump to the rock formations ahead to claim the second relic.
3	The third relic is in the flooded chamber beyond the stairs. As the leeches will kill you if you swim here, your only option is to circle around from the left to reach the large platform in the center. Once there, check the corner near the entrance for the relic.
