What are you going to do next at the beachfront resort of Hello Kitty Island Adventure? Of course it’s making friends! There are many iconic Sanrio characters all over the island, and you need to meet and become friends with them.

One of the characters you must know is Melody, who now runs a furniture store. This guide will cover how to be friends with Melody, including gifts she likes and the rewards you can earn after you improve your friendship level. Melody is one of the characters you need to meet immediately in the game, and you don't need to unlock or search for her.

Where is Melody?

Melody is usually in the Small Gift Big Smile furniture store, which is located directly north of the main square. Start from the mailbox in the middle of the beachfront resort and just walk a little left.

If Melody is not there, you can open the map to view her icon. Sometimes she might be outside, but her icon will show her current location. If she is not in the store, you can still interact with the cash register to purchase items.

In the picture above, Melody is not in the store. She is on the beach, but the blue player icon is right at her store location .

Gift for Melody

Give gifts are the core gameplay of Hello Kitty Island Adventure. Melody loves to receive gifts, especially gifts marked “sweet,” “pink,” or “dream”. These tag icons look like candy, flamingo and moon in turn.

When you view items in your inventory, you will see the label displayed. If the item has any of these tags, will at least be a heart gift . You can also give her a unique gift of two or three hearts, as shown below. If the gift with these tags is not on the list, there is only one heart.
