While Microsoft is adding four new games to the Xbox Game Pass by the end of the month, gamers will have to say goodbye to three other titles. Basketball fans may initially be disappointed that there are no more NBA 2K titles in the Game Pass, at least for the time being. NBA 2K25 (available for pre-order on Amazon) will be released on September 6. It remains to be seen whether the game will be available in the Game Pass right from release.

Atomic Heart

Atomic Heart is a first-person shooter set in an alternate 1950s Soviet Union where robots and experiments are out of control. Players take on the role of KGB agent P-3 - also known as Major Nechaev - and fight against enemy machines and mutants while exploring a mysterious research facility. Atomic Heart features non-linear gameplay with intense combat, exploration, crafting and customizable weapons.

Guilty Gears -Strive

Strive is the latest installment in the Guilty Gears series. It is a classic 2D fighting game - but with an anime look and rock music. The combat system is described as challenging, but should also be easily accessible for beginners. Players can compete against AI opponents in story mode or against other gamers online. The right hard rock or metal sound is always provided.

NBA 2K24

NBA 2K24 is the latest offshoot of EA's basketball simulation series.Players can embark on a professional journey in MyCareer mode, assemble a personalized team in MyTeam mode, or compete in a variety of online and offline modes. In addition to graphical improvements, 2K24 also offers new features such as ProPLAY, which transfers movements and animations directly from real NBA games to the game to increase authenticity.
