There are around 30 Masks to be found in Enotria: The Last Song, all scattered throughout the game’s three regions. This guide goes over all Mask locations and their effects in Enotria: The Last Song.
There are three ways to get masks in Enotria: The Last Song. This includes collecting Mask Shards, defeating main bosses, or completing side quests.
There are eight Masks players can find in the game’s first region. Some require collecting shards, while others can be acquired by defeating bosses. Here’s how to find them all.
Players can get the Curtis Mask by defeating Curtis, Prince of Laughter, the first main boss of Quinta. After defeating this boss, the Curtis Mask will automatically be added to your inventory.
Effect: Your Status Power is increased, however you suffer more damage from all sources. In addition, perfectly parrying an attack charges up your Mask Lines while you’re Awakened.
The Fisherman’s Mask is acquired by defeating the Fisherman enemies in Quinta and collecting the shards they drop. Players need 100 Fisherman Shards to officially create the Fisherman’s Mask.
Effect: Your finishing blows deal more damage if only one weapon is equipped. Your Physical Power is also increased while Awakened.
The Gardener Mask is acquired by collecting 100 Garder Mask Shards in the Quinta region. These shards are dropped by the Gardener enemy, who uses a pitchfork as a weapon. Here is the enemy you should be looking for:
Farm these enemies until you acquire enough Gardener Mask Shards to create the Gardener Mask. After collecting enough Gardener Mask Shards, the Gardner Mask will be automatically added to your inventory.
Effect: Heals you when you hit enemies with Ardore Burst. Additionally, Armonia Amber heals more when you’re awakened.
Guise of Zanni is found by defeating Zanni, the First Mask, at the School of Zanni in Quinta. The School of Zanni is found in the back section of the city, an area you can reach after defeating Curtis.
Effect: Increases the maximum amount of Armonia Amber charges. In addition, allows you to equip and use the “Grand Celebration” Mask Line.
The Lumberjack Mask is acquired by finding 200 Lumberjack Mask Shards in the Quinta region. Lumberjacks are the enemies that carry an axe and are usually found chopping away at a tree. For reference, below is the enemy you should be looking out for.
Once you collect enough shards off Lumberjacks, the Lumberjack Mask will be added to your inventory.
Effect: Buffs Status Power when affected by Dizzy and infuses your weapon with Vis when in an Awakened state.
Players can obtain the Mask of Change by defeating the tutorial boss at the beginning of the game. He’s an incredibly easy fight, so not much work needs to be done to get this powerful mask.
After defeating the Force of Change tutorial boss, the Mask of Change will be automatically added to your inventory.
Effect: Allows you to deal more weapon damage through heavy attacks. In addition, your Physical Power is increased while Awakened.
The Piercing Wit Mask is automatically given to the player after the tutorial session at the Cradle of Change checkpoint. Hit next on the tutorials until they are completed, and then leave the Cradle of Change checkpoint to get the Piercing Wit Mask.
Effect: Increases the damage dealt by ranged Mask Lines. Additionally, while you’re Awakened, dealing a finishing blow to an enemy charges up all ranged Mask Lines.
Players can get Vermiglio’s Mask by defeating Vermiglio, The Red Prior Boss near the Crimson Cloister checkpoint in Quinta. After defeating the boss, the Vermiglio’s Mask will automatically be added to your inventory for you to equip.
Effect: Performing an Ardore Burst increases your Ardore Power for a short duration.
Falesia Magna is the second region in Enotria, and within it are tons of Masks with unique abilities. Here’s how to find all Mask locations in Falesia Magna.
Players can get the Breach Defender Mask by defeating Breach Defender enemies in the Falesia Magna region. It’ll take 300 Breach Defender Mask Shards to create the mask. Unlike other enemies in the game, Breach Defenders don’t respawn and are permanently gone when you defeat them. You’ll know you found one if you notice an enemy with a giant hammer as a weapon.
Effect: Grants extra Status Power when your weapon is infused with Gratia. Additionally, increases Ardore Power when in an Awakened State.
The Colossus Mask can be crafted by collecting 300 Colossus Mask Shards. Multiple enemies drop Colossus Mask Shards, but the easiest ones to find are the giants in Falesia Magna near the Coliseum checkpoint. Right down the stairs, you will find three giants that each drop Colossus Mask Shards.
Don’t let these guys size intimidate you. They are actually incredibly easy to defeat and their stagger bars fills up very quick.
Effect: Increases the size of the Ardore Burst AoE. Also activates Super Armor when Awakened.
The Gatekeeper Mask can be acquired by collecting 500 Gatekeeper Mask Shards in the Falesia Magna region. Gatekeepers are not standard enemies and are instead mini-bosses that are mostly on the main path. Each Gatekeeper boss drops 125 shards.
Kill enough Gatekeeper mini-bosses and collect enough shards to earn the Gatekeeper Mask. Since you need 500 and each drop 125, you need to kill four Gatekeepers.
Effect: Fill the enemy’s Unravel bar faster when Awakened.
In order to get Giangurgolo’s Mask in Enotria, players must first defeat the boss of the same name. The Giangurgolo boss can be found near the Coliseum fast-travel checkpoint in the large building up the hill. Go down the stairs from the checkpoint, then take a left, and then continue straight to find his location.
Effect: Dealing damage to an enemy with full health massively increases your Status Power for a short time. In addition, any status effects inflicted on you are cleared upon becoming Awakened.
The Huntress Mask is another one that requires collecting shards. Players will have to collect 300 Huntress Mask Shards, dropped by the Huntress enemy in Falesia Magna. These enemies have a green health bar and are hard to miss when you come in contact with them.
The green health bar means the enemy isn’t resistant to certain status effects, so I recommend focusing on pure physical damage when fighting them.
Effect: You have a chance of entering an Awakened State when defeating an enemy with a Mask Line. In addition, increases Critical Damage and Status Power when Awakened.
Players can get the Priestess Mask in Enotria by defeating the Priestess enemies and collecting 300 Shards and defeating the High Priestess of Veltha boss at the Desecrated Cathedral in Falesia Magna.
Effect: Grants you a chance to enter an Awakened state if you beat enemies with Mask Lines. Additionally, increases Ardore and Elemental Power when awakened.
The Spaventa Army Mask is another one that can only be obtained by collecting enough shards. Players will have to collect 100 Spaventa Army Mask Shards from the Spaventa Army enemies, who are scattered all throughout the Falesia Magna region. Multiple enemies are considered Spaventa Army, but the image below provides an example of one.
Since you only need 100 shards for this mask, and there are tons of these enemies in the area, it shouldn’t take you too long.
Effect: Defeating an enemy with a finishing blow will reward you with more Memoria. In addition, increases luck when Awakened.
Players must complete Custode’s side quest to earn the Zealot’s Mask. This quest involves speaking to Custode at three different locations and then defeating the Giangurgolo boss.
The first place you can find Custode is near the Wall Outskirts fast travel checkpoint. He can be found looking over the edge that overlooks the entire area. Speak to him and exhaust his dialogue to move onto the next step in the quest.
The second location players can find Custode is near the Hall of the Great Statue fast travel checkpoint. Take a left from the checkpoint and instead of going down into the main area, take another left to find him hanging by a cliff. Speak to him again and exhaust his dialogue.
The last location players can find Custode is right next to the Coliseum fast travel checkpoint. Speak to him at this location and he will explain to you that Giangurgolo is in the Coliseum up the hill.
Go to the Coliseum and defeat the boss. Once Giangurgolo is defeated, return to Custode at the Coliseum fast travel checkpoint and equip Giangurgolo’s Mask that you just received from defeating the boss. Speak to Custode with the Giangurgolo Mask equipped and he will reward you with the Zealot’s Mask.
Effect: Your Physical Attack is increased when your health is below a certain threshold. In Addition, the first instance of lethal damage you take while Awakened will not take you down but will leave you at 1 Health Point instead.
Players will have to farm a handful of enemies and defeat numerous bosses to collect all Masks in Litumnia. Here’s how to find them all.
The Ascendant Mask can be acquired by collecting a total of 100 Ascendant Mask Shards. The Ascendant enemy type starts appearing at the Court Entrance fast-travel checkpoint in Litumnia. This enemy wears robes and carry a Colossal Hammer.
You can also earn the Ascendant Mask by defeating Astarium Ascendant Boss in Litmunia.
Effect: When Awakened, your weapon becomes infused with Gratia.
The Automaton Mask can be obtainedl by collecting 200 Automaton Mask Shards off the Automaton enemy. This enemy type is rare, but you’ll know you’ve encountered one if the soldier is tall and has a Polearm as a weapon. An example is shown below.
The best place to farm this enemy is near the Clocktower fast-travel checkpoint. Backtrack a bit through the tunnel and you’ll find two Automaton enemies.
Effect: Increase Attack Power for heavy attacks and also immune to Sick when Awakened.
The Fantolino Mask is acquired by collecting 100 Fantolino Mask Shards. Fantolino is a poisonous enemy in Enotria, and sort of resembles a mushroom. You’ll know you found a Fantolino when the enemy’s health bar is green.
Effect: Grants extra Status Power when Sick. Additionally, your weapon infuses with Malanno when Awakened.
Fauno’s Mask can be obtained by speaking to Forgotten Fauno, who can be found near a shed and campfire at the ground level of Litumnia. The closest fast-travel checkpoint to his location is Old Docks and he is located past the Crab mini-boss.
Effect: You gain immunity to Wicked. While Awakened, your current weapon is also infused with Fatuo.
Players can get the Glassblower Mask by collecting 200 Glassblower Mask Shards. The Glassblowers are giant enemies in the Litumnia region and are typically found in the later half of the level (after the mine). Here is what the Glassblower enemy looks like.
Don’t let its size fool you — this enemy is very simple and has slow attack patterns.
Effect: Fill enemy’s stagger bar quicker when in an Awakened State.
Players can earn the Gondolier Mask by collecting 200 Shards off the Gondolier enemy in Litumnia. This is the first enemy you’ll encounter when arriving to the game’s third region. They are robed enemies carrying a small weapon. Below is the enemy you need to kill to collect the shards for the mask.
Effect: Increases Status Power and increases Attack Power when Awakened.
Players can receive the Guise of the Rulers by defeating Pantalone, Hoarder of Wealth and Balazone, Usurper of Knowledge. These two bosses take place in a singular fight and you’ll have to defeat them both to obtain the Guise of the Rulers. This is the final boss of the Litumnia region.
Effect: Greatly increases Memoria Gain and Status Power at the cost of taking more damage from all sources. Also, allows you to equip and use the “De’Avari e de’Scienza” Mask Line.
The Highborne Mask can be found in Litumnia by defeating Highborne enemies and collecting 100 mask shards. Highbornes are the only enemy that sings and makes a shrieking noise when you encounter them, making them stand out and easy to notice.
Effect: Increases the amount of Memoria you receive from defeating enemies. Additionally, it increases your Luck.
The Magister Mark Mask can be acquired by collecting 100 Magister Mark Shards. This enemy type starts appearing at the Court Entrance fast-travel checkpoint and are spellcasters that shoot orbs of Radiance. Just know that they have a weird looking globe on their head, which should make it easy for you to spot them.
Effect: Grants immunity to Radiance and buffs to Elemental damage when Awakened.
Moretta is a side-boss on the main path in Litumnia, with a giant green health bar. Defeating each Moretta boss will reward you with 100 Moretta Mask Shards and you need a total of 300 to officially create the Mask. In other words, you need to defeat Moretta three times.
Effect: Greatly increases Status Power and attack damage but your actions cost more stamina. Dodging costs less stamina when you’re Awakened, however.
Strale Velata is the final level of the game and there are only two Masks available in the area. Here’s how to get both.
The Guise of Arcchino is rewarded to players after defeating the final boss of Enotria: The Last Song. To reach the final boss, return to The Theater of the Masks and proceed through the curtain on stage. Doing so will bring you to a new area called Strale Velata.
Effect: Grants a huge Ardore Power buff and allows you to use the “Master of Creation” Mask Line.
Players can get the Guise of Pulcinella by defeating Pulcinella in the alternate ending of Enotria: The Last Song. At the time of writing, it’s undetermined how to get the alternate ending, but it likely involves completing the game’s side quests.
Effect: Great Elemental Power buff and allows you to use the “Song of Change” Mask Line.
