No one survives

If you’d like everyone to die at the hands of Frank Stone and receive the “no one survives” ending, follow the steps below.

1. Choose the option for Sam to sacrifice himself to Frank Stone at the projector.
2. After fixing the elevator, have Linda break for the elevator instead of saving Madison.
3. If you kept Chris in the present, have her push through the projector.

Making the decisions mentioned will cause all ending characters to get killed in The Casting of Frank Stone. This will lead to the campfire having no familiar faces, and instead random no-named survivors.

Sam survives

If your favorite character is Sam and want him to be the only survivor, we got you covered with the steps.

Linda survives

Linda, arguably the best character in the game, can be the only survivor if you’d like. Here’s how to do it.

1. Sacrifice yourself as Sam when Frank Stone is coming out of the projector.
2. After fixing the generator, choose the option to help Madison near the elevator against Frank Stone.
3. As Madison, when confronted by Augustine agree for her to help you.
4. Succeed in all quick time events in the chase against Frank Stone as Linda.
5. If Chris is in the present, have her go through the projector.
6. Madison will get sacrificed at the manse for agreeing with Augustine and only Linda will survive at the campfire.

Chris survives

Having Chris show up at the campfire at the end means you’ll need to make one important decision in Chapter 10. For Chris to show up in Chapter 14, you need to make sure she doesn’t get back into the machine and remain in the present.

1. In Chapter 10, have Chris choose the option to not go back into the machine to keep her in the present.
2. Have Sam sacrifice himself to Frank Stone in the projector during Chapter 14.
3. After fixing the generator and getting the elevator working, choose the option to go for the elevator instead of helping Madison.
4. As Chris, choose to not go through the projector which leads to Chris surviving at the campfire.

Linda and Madison survive

This is where things start to get a little bit tricky, so make sure you read the steps carefully.

1. Choose the option to sacrifice Sam to Frank Stone when he’s coming out of the projector.
2. After fixing the elevator, choose the option to save and Madison from Frank Stone.
3. As Madison, go against Augustine’s wishes and don’t agree to receive help from her.
4. Survive all quick-time events as Linda during the chase sequence.
5. If you kept Chris in the present, have her push through the projector.

Linda and Sam survive

Here’s how to get the ending where only Linda and Sam survive and end up at the campfire.

1. Don’t save Stan from the projector.
2. Back away from projector as Sam when Frank Stone has a hold of Stan.
3. Choose the option to help Madison near the elevator after Frank Stone comes through the wall after fixing the generator.
4. When playing as Madison, agree with Augustine and accept her willing to help.
5. Succeed in all quick time events during the chase with Frank Stone as Linda.
6. During the chase, choose to flee as Linda and then survive all quick time events as Sam.
7. If Chris is in the present, have her push through the projector.

Madison and Sam survive

How to get Chris’s secret ending

There’s a secret ending in The Casting of Frank Stone that involves Chris surviving and returning to the present. The decisions you need to make to get this ending occur very early in your playthrough. To get the Chris secret ending, you need to select “appreciative” and tell the woman that the price seems reasonable in Chapter 3. If you select “doubtful,” you’ll get offered a prop for your movie. Accepting the prop will result in Chris getting a mirror. You don’t want the mirror, so make sure you don’t accept it.

Next, during Chapter 14 when Chris has the choice of leaving the projector or going through it, you want to choose the option to push through the projector. Since Chris doesn’t have the mirror, she will survive the flames and return to the past.

How to get Sam’s secret ending

Sam’s secret ending goes hand in hand with Chris’s, except the only difference is you need to keep Sam alive in the final Chapter of the game. To do this, back away from the projector when Frank Stone is coming out of hit and survive his quick time events when getting chased. Also, you need to push Chris through the projector when she doesn’t have the mirror. Remember, accepting the price the woman offers in Chapter 3 and not accepting the prop will ensure Chris doesn’t take the mirror.

Completing this correctly will result in Sam ending up at the horologium and going through it. In other words, Sam will be sent to the past.

Which ending is best in the Casting of Frank Stone?

The best ending in The Casting of Frank Stone is Chris’s and Sam’s secret endings. The main reason why these are the best is because it gives these two characters a chance to stop Augustine, since the endings have them returning to the past. So, if Sam and Chris are smart enough, they’ll take steps to stop Augustine from bringing Frank Stone to the real world.
