Unlike regular fish that can be tossed into ponds for quick roe production, Legendary Roe requires you to place a legendary fish in a pond, where it will slowly generate roe over time.

To start, you’ll need to catch one of these legendary fish, each with its own unique conditions and locations. After snagging one, place it in a pond, and it will eventually produce roe. Keep in mind, only one legendary fish can inhabit a pond at a time, and they won’t repopulate like other fish.

The five legendary fish — Angler, Crimsonfish, Glacierfish, Legend, and Mutant Carp — each require specific fishing levels, locations, and, in some cases, bait or weather conditions. Notably, you can only catch one of each per save file. The following table provides details on each legendary fish, their locations, and the conditions for catching them:
