Hero of the Kingdom II is an adventure game with RPG elements in which players take on the role of a simple farmer who lives with his sister in a quiet village. But the idyll is soon disturbed by pirate raids, whereupon they set out to save the kingdom.

Players travel through various areas such as towns, forests and coasts, collecting resources, fighting enemies and completing quests. The combat system in Hero of the Kingdom II is not action-oriented, but is based on resource management: players need certain items, allies or skills to succeed in battles instead of having to actively attack themselves. Particular attention is paid to collecting resources and managing the economy in order to produce or trade useful goods.

Compared to classic role-playing games, Hero of the Kingdom II is more focused on storytelling and the strategic management of resources - a concept that is very well received on Steam.
